To set up a computer to accept remote desktop connections from anywhere in the world, you will need to do the following:
1. Ensure that the computer you want to connect to has Remote Desktop enabled. This can usually be done by going to the System Properties window and enabling the "Allow Remote Connections to this computer" option.
2. Make sure that the computer you want to connect to has a static IP address or a dynamic DNS service set up. This will allow you to connect to the computer using a hostname or IP address, even if the IP address of the computer changes.
3. Make sure that your router is configured to forward incoming Remote Desktop connections to the computer you want to connect to. This can usually be done by accessing your router's configuration page and setting up port forwarding for TCP port 3389.
4. Install Remote Desktop software on the computer you will be connecting from. Windows includes Remote Desktop client software, while Mac and Linux users can use third-party software such as "Microsoft Remote Desktop" or "VNC Viewer"
5. Connect to the computer by entering the IP address or hostname of the computer you want to connect to, and the Remote Desktop software will prompt you for login credentials.
6. Once you have successfully connected to the computer, you should be able to control it remotely as if you were sitting in front of it.
