2. A computer or device that you will be connecting from: This computer or device will need Remote Desktop software installed. Windows includes Remote Desktop client software, while Mac and Linux users can use third-party software such as "Microsoft Remote Desktop" or "VNC Viewer"
3. An Internet connection: Both the computer you want to connect to and the computer or device you will be connecting from will need to be connected to the Internet.
4. Router: If you are connecting to the computer remotely over the internet, you will need a router that is configured to forward incoming Remote Desktop connections to the computer you want to connect to.
5. Credentials: You will need the login credentials (username and password) for the computer you want to connect to.
6. Remote access software: Remote Desktop protocol is built-in on Windows and macOS, but additional software like TeamViewer, AnyDesk, Chrome Remote Desktop can be used as well.
